Position
As a Software Engineer, you will be engaged in developing, refining, and enhancing features in OPNET's next generation of network management and monitoring solutions. Projects involve enhancing OPNET's platform for network configuration and performance data collection, storage, and analysis in a service-oriented architecture which opens up other OPNET applications and technologies to client-server use.
Qualifications
Here’s what you should bring to the table:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or equivalent experience.
- Programming experience in N-Tier Java core development.
- Programming experience in C and C++.
- Experience with server technologies: Tomcat, Struts, Servlets, etc.
- Experience with ClearCase and Jbuilder or Eclipse.
- Experience with Oracle 9i/10g or PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Knowledge of application performance is a plus.
- Must be motivated to have an impact on our products, our company, and the state of the art.
