International Marketing Programs Manager
Position
As an International Marketing Programs Manager you will have a key role in affecting the marketing strategy for OPNET’s solutions outside of North America, and for representing and differentiating OPNET in the marketplace.
You will be responsible for shaping and executing OPNET’s marketing program outside of North America. Your programs will be highly visible within OPNET, with the objective of gaining OPNET greater visibility externally. You will work closely with Product Managers who will define OPNET product messaging, e-marketing programs staff, and our HQ-based team responsible for awareness programs including PR, advertising, promotions, and events. You will report to the VP of Marketing and Business Development, and will have frequent exposure to our senior executives.
Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Manage the execution of marketing programs outside of North America
- Develop new marketing program specific to the various international regions
- Provide substantive input to the prioritization of marketing investments across international regions
- Adapt US-based Marketing Programs for various international regions
- Act as Marketing Division liaison with International-based sales staff
- Adapt marketing materials for use in international regions, including sales aids and program-related materials
- Monitor program(s) effectiveness
- Prepare business cases for new programs and initiatives
- Interface with vendors as required to support your marketing programs
Qualifications
Here's what you should bring to the table:
- Minimum 5 years experience working in product marketing, marketing programs development and execution, and marketing communications
- Experience dealing with customers including senior IT executives, IT and business media, and IT industry analysts
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Solid technical background and knowledge of application and infrastructure management
- Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Must be a self-starter who can work well independently with minimal guidance, communicate effectively with upper management and peers, and perform professional staff work
- Fluency in multiple languages highly desirable
- Must be motivated to have an impact on our products, our company, and the state of the art
