Account Executives – R&D Sales
The principal responsibility for this position is to manage relationships with prospective customers who are facing complex technological challenges in the areas of networking, network protocols, and system designs.
Additional tasks include:
- Prospecting, cold calling, and producing quality leads
- Analyzing customer needs in terms of current business objectives
- Presenting and articulating advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions
- Aggressively following up on leads and closing new account business.
- Engaging in regular monthly and quarterly business reviews and weekly forecast activities
- Meeting and exceeding revenue goals on a quarterly and annual basis.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a technical background in electrical engineering or computer science, and have a strong interest in applying their knowledge to a customer-oriented environment. Here’s what you should bring to the table:
- 3+ years relevant outside sales experience or extensive inside sales experience within the software industry
- A proven record of successful software sales experience
- Strong prospecting, “solution” selling and closing skills
- Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
- A working knowledge of networks and telecommunications
- An ability to conduct software demonstrations to technical and non-technical groups
- A willingness to travel approximately 15-20% of the time
- Must be motivated to have an impact on our products, our company, and the state of the art.
